Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, we will now be deciding whether or not to accept reservations for this year on May 1st.

Those of you who have met our owner Don or any of his children and grandchildren up at the retreat know that this is a family business in every sense–we manage the property, run the business, maintain the website, and care for our guests ourselves. Unfortunately, our family is struggling through a difficult season–in the last few months, we’ve lost two dearly beloved family members. This, coupled with staff shortage due to other medical emergencies, means that we need to make some difficult decisions about whether we’ll be able to open this year at all.

We want to welcome you all back to our little haven this summer–after a winter like ours, we know how precious those little retreats can be. But we need a little more time to figure out how and if we can make that happen. We appreciate your patience, and, as always, we hope to see you again up at the retreat.
